Hello! Welcome to my page.

I graduated from Western Washington University in June of 2018 with a BSc in Geophysics and minors in Astronomy and Mathematics. During undergrad I tried to get as close to a Planetary Science degree as possible by taking remote sensing classes and joining the Mars Lab to process and analyze spectral images from the Curiosity rover, led by Dr. Melissa Rice.

I also had a rich extracurricular life teaching Physics labs to other undergraduates, operating a variety of telescopes for public viewing, and volunteering as the Chief Audio Engineer/Assistant Producer for a science communication podcast run by Dr. Regina Barber deGraaff.

In 2018 I received a grant from the Geology and Physics departments to attend the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference, where I interviewed planetary scientists for our podcast.

Since graduating I've been employed as a data processor for the University of Washington admissions office and a data technician at an oceanography firm. I’ve also consistently enrolled in python, SQL, shell, R, HTML, and Java courses offered online and in May 2020 completed my University of Washington data science certificate, which included a machine learning course.

In my free time I enjoy baking bread, rollerskating, taking care of my plants, and walking my dog.
